Doug was a very mild manner person at work. I've never seen him get upset or raise his voice. Was always very nice to talk to and very smart. When he would tell you about something at work, he would go into great detail about it. Even with food and why we should have Dick's barbecue and not Famous Dave's at our crew meeting. Doug attended one of my evening crew meetings not too long ago and was very helpful in the meeting. Giving out tips on how to connect with the customer. Here is one that stuck with me "If the customer offer's you a bottle of water he said, take it every time. Even if you have 10 bottles in your truck. The customer wants to give you something. In exchange you will give them what they want, which is a honest opinion on if they need a new appliance or not." I worked with Doug many years. His kindness and knowledge will be greatly missed at work.
Good by Doug. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
